Alexey Volsky specializes in hermeneutics, German literature and philosophy, philologist, and translator. He works as Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Literature, A.I. Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University (St. Petersburg). He is the author of the monograph

From Poetical Philosophy to Philosophical Poetry: A Study in Hermeneutic Interpretation (Norma, 2008). He translated Schleiermacher’s Hermeneutics (European house, 2004) and Novalis’s Fragments

(Vladimir Dal, 2014). Among his research interests are German poetry, problems of poetic language, Hölderlin, Novalis, Paul Celan, the relationship between poetry and philosophy, and German Romanticism.

Olga Voltchek is a literary historian, teaches French and French civilization studies at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University. She is the author of works on Pierre Drieu la Rochelle, Russian and French literary connections, and the theory and history of translation. She translated the following authors from French: B. Vian, A. Robbe-Grillet, A. de Montherlant, J. – P. Sartre, P. Drieu la Rochelle, M. Leiris, C. Peignot, G. Deleuze, L. Boltanski, M. Surya, and A. Badiou.

Valery Zusman is a specialist in the literatures of German-speaking countries, comparative studies, and the theory of intercultural communication. He works as Director of the Nizhny Novgorod Branch of the National Research Institute Higher School of Economics. He is the author and co-author of five monographs that include Literature and Methods of its Study: A Systematic-Synergetic Approach
