Сфабрикованный Иисус. Как современные исследователи искажают евангелия

⁹ Поправка: Пользуясь случаем, хочу поправить Эндрю Кокберна. В своей статье «Иудино Евангелие», в прочих отношениях безупречной, он выражает мое отношение к Евангелию Иуды таким образом: «Эта история — бессмысленная выдумка» (с. 91). Ничего подобного я не говорил — и это отнюдь не бессмысленная выдумка! Евангелие Иуды вполне осмысленно, особенно для мистиков и гностиков II века, понимавших мир и служение Иисуса совсем не так, как понимаем его мы. Мое мнение выражено в словах, цитируемых Кокберном: «Евангелие Иуды не сообщает ничего такого, что можно было бы счесть исторически достоверным» (также с. 91). Я стою на этом утверждении — но не на его интерпретации Кокберном. В этом коротком эссе я постарался показать, что вымышленный сюжет Евангелия Иуды, возможно, отражает аутентичную традицию — а именно, воспоминание о том, что Иуда был близок к Иисусу и Иисус давал ему частные поручения. Возможно, на это намекает Ин 13. Евангелие Иуды заставляет нас вновь задуматься об этой возможности, хотя мы и полагаем, что сюжет его вымышлен от начала и до конца.
