Structure and evolution of Earth’s crust of the Arctic continental margin of EurasiaDuring the «Arctic-2007» expedition in Arctic Ocean Rosnedra-VNIIOkeangeologia carried out the geologic-geophysical researches to resolve the problem of geological maintenance of the Russian Federation geopolitical objective on the basis of position specification of outer limit of the continental shelf of the Russian Federation in this region, in particular around the Lomonosov Ridge and in a zone of its transition to adjoining shelf. On the basis of obtained data and according with the earlier researches geodynamic model of this region has been created. This model supports the outer limit of the continental shelf of the Russian Federation declaration in Arctic Ocean. Analysis of the geologic-geophysical data along the «Arctic-2007» section as well as geodynamic model allowed to make a number of new essential conclusions about evolution of Arctic ocean. The area of the Central-Arctic submarine elevations and the East Arctic shelf of Russia are the uniform ensemble of geological structures with the general geological history and synoceanic structural-material transformations of the continental crust.
