Hofiz Sheroziy (1325–1388)

Shamsuddin Muhammad Hofiz Sheroziy Eronning Sheroz shahrida tug‘ilgan. Lekin butun umri davomida ona shahridan chetga chiqmagan bu «isonafaslik rindi Sheroz» (Navoiy) o‘zining yoniq she’rlari bilan yarim dunyoni egalladi va o‘zidan keyingi Sharqu G‘arb adabiyotiga katta ta’sir ko‘rsatdi. Buyuk nemis shoiri Hyote Hofizni «noyob uslub dahosi», «muqaddas Hofiz» deb ulug‘lab, uning ta’sirida «G‘arbu Sharq devoni» ni yaratgan bo‘lsa, V. Jukovskiy, A. Pushkin, Yu. Lermontov, A. Fet, S. Yesenin kabi rus shoirlari Hofizdan ilhomlanib, «hofizona» ohanglarda she’rlar yozganlar, uning ijodini yuksak baholaganlar. Sharqda esa Sheroz bulbulidan ta’sirlanmagan shoirning o‘zi yo‘q hisobi.

Mashhur hind shoiri va mutafakkiri Muhammad Iqbol Hofizni buyuk sehrgar, deb luft etgan edi. Chindan ham dunyo adabiyotida so‘zni Hofizday ming bir maqomda o‘ynatgan, so‘zga ming bir ma’no yuklagan, so‘zni ming bir sehru sinoat pardasiga o‘ragan yana bir shoirni topish mumkin emas. Hofiz she’rlari tabiiyligi, samimiyligi, hassos bir muhabbat va yuksak badiiyatga yo‘g‘rilganligi, mazmuni teran va serqatlamligi, falsafasining quyuqligi, nozik ishoralarga boyligi, uslubining murakkabligi uchun ham unga «lison ul-g‘ayb» — «g‘oyibning tili» sifatini berganlar. Hofiz Sharqda shunchalik shuhrat tutganki, uni muqaddaslashtirib, ilohiylashtirib, devonini fol kitobiga aylantirganlar. Shoir devoni madrasalarda maxsus darslik sifatida o‘qitilgan. Sharqda hofizxonlik katta shuhrat qozongan.

Hofiz hammayoqni vayronaga aylantirgan mo‘g‘ullar hukmronligi inqirozga uchrab, mayda xonliklar o‘rtasidagi o‘zaro toju taxt talashlari avj olgan, bundan xalqning tinkasi qurib, ahvoli xarob bo‘lgan bir davrda yashab ijod etdi. Uning davrida Sheroz 5 marta ana shunday janglar girdobiga tortilib, o‘zi vayron, xalqi qatli om qilindi. 50 yil (1338–1388) mobaynida 6 marta podshoh almashganligi ham shoir yashagan davrning notinchligini ko‘rsatadi. Bu narsa uning ijodiga ta’sir etmasligi mumkin emas edi. Ma’shuqa ta’rif-tavsifi, visol lazzati-yu, hijron hasratini tarannum etish vositasi bo‘lgan g‘azalga Hofiz ijtimoiy mavzular, falsafiy fikr-mulohazalarni omuxta qildi. U ishq atalgan ulkan va bepoyon mavzu ichiga Olam va Odam dardini, o‘z davrining o‘tkir ijtimoiy muammolarini dadil olib kirdi va mahorat bilan she’rga soldi. Hofizni Hofiz qilgan narsa aslida shu. Shoir insonning orzu-intilishlari, quvonchu qayg‘usi, dardu tashvishlari, muhabbati, fikru o‘ylarini avj pardalarda kuylash bilan adabiyotning asosiy ob’yekti inson ekanligini amalda isbotladi. Shuning uchun ham, mana, VII asrdirki, uning shuhrati zarracha kamaygan emas, bil’aks, kundan- kunga ortib bordi va bundan keyin ham shoir ijodiga bo‘lgan qiziqish so‘nmasligi shubhasiz.

Hofizdan bor-yo‘g‘i bir devon meros qolgan. Shuni ham uning o‘zi tuzmagan. Bu ishni Hofiz vafotidan 30–40 yil keyin shoirning do‘sti va shogirdi Muhammad Gulandom amalga oshirgan. Lekin shu birgina devoni bilan ham u yarim dunyoni egalladi.

Firdavsiy masnaviyni, Umar Xayyom ruboiyni qanchalik takomilga yetkazgan bo‘lsalar, Hofiz Sheroziy ham g‘azalni shunchalik yuksak poyata ko‘tardi. Mana, necha asrlardan buyon ruboiyda biror shoir Umar Xayyomga yetolmagani kabi, g‘azalda ham hech kim Hofizning oldiga tusholgan emas.

Hofiz ijodidan namunalarni o‘zbek tiliga Xurshid, Muinzoda, Chustiy, Vasfiy, Sh. Shomuhamedov, J. Jabborov, E. Vohidov, M. Kenjabek, O. Bo‘riyev kabi fors-tojik adabiyotining bilimdonlari tarjima qilganlar.
