Once more he essayed to rise to his feet, and succeeded; only to find, that he had but one leg on which he could rely! It was no use, standing upon it; and he lay down again. Knees! and only one in a condition to support me!	На коленях? Но ведь я могу опираться только на одно колено...
There's no help for it but try.	Все равно надо попытаться.

The sun grows hotter.	Солнце начинает палить.
It already burns into my brain.	Оно уже жжет мне голову.
I may lose my senses, and then-the wolves-the vultures-"	Я могу потерять сознание, и тогда -- волки, грифы...
The horrid apprehension caused silence and shuddering.	Он вздрогнул от ужасной мысли и замолчал.

I remember the stream well enough.	Я хорошо помню этот ручей.

I shall try that way.	Попробую ползти в этом направлении.
By good luck the sun guides me.	К счастью, я могу теперь ориентироваться по солнцу.
If I find water all may yet be well.	Если мне удастся добраться до воды, то, может быть, все еще и обойдется.
